Ee Gaalilo - Notebook

If anyone remembers there came a Telugu movie called 'notebook' in 2007. That was the the most depressing movie of that year. But the good thing is Mickey J Meyer being its music director. This awesome little creature called Mickey is one of the very few talented and musically well-educated composers in South India. This song exhibits his attention to details and his skill of choosing the right singer. This is a pure melody with awesome singing by Nithya Santhoshini. Being a trained Carnatic singer herself, Nithya makes this number a perfect one with absolutely flawless rendering. I wish a lot of times that Mr. SPB should take back his continuous criticism that 'singers these days do not care about their pronunciation while singing or that they are not dedicated at all'. I'm not sure if this song appeals to all Mickey's fans but those with an ear for slow, classical love tracks will surely like this. You can listen to the song here.
